Life of St Mawes Cornwall

Cornwall is one of the most beautiful countries that are situated in the south-western region of England. It is positioned on a peninsula that is located at the western end of the Tamar River. Truro is the only city in the country. It is the administrative and economic hub of the region. Cornwall is spread across an area of more than 1350 square miles. The region is famous for its moorlands, the long coastlines and the pleasant climate. There are also innumerable Stone Age structures that you can find there. Besides the natural splendors there are many historical sites in the region. One of the attractive tourist spots is the St Mawes castle. Its counterpart Pendennis castle is located further away. The St Mawes castle was constructed by Henry VIII in the 16th century. A few miles further from the castle is the St Just in Roseland church which is reported to be one of the most beautiful churchyards in the earth.

As the village is located in the Gulf Stream, the region has a pleasant climate throughout the year. The region also boasts of some of the most exotic flora and fauna in the Mediterranean region.
